What’s your proudest moment on the football field, this season or in your career?
Being able to keep going and never giving up, I always have had faith in our program once we all are put together we should be a great team.
Describe a play where you made a game-changing impact. What was going through your mind?
Interception against Lower Moreland, up by 1 and they try to force a pass ober the middle and was picked off after doing so I slid to make sure the play was dead, then celebrated with my teammates.
What’s the toughest part of playing the position (s) you play, and how do you prepare for each?
Having to stay focused and always watch the ball, seeing the ball in is crucial once you can master that you will be able to catch any ball.
Which NFL player do you model your game after, and what do you admire about them?
Justin Jefferson, his play style always inspired me to play wide receiver, especially the way he gets in and out of his break. One day I hope I can be faster than him.
What’s a drill or skill you’re grinding to perfect before the season?
Box drill, helps get you to time your steps and forces you to work on your break which has helped so much.
How did you start playing football, and what keeps you passionate about it?
Started to play football at shot 7 years old, and all I wanted to do was run around, once you take the extra step you can really understand how the game is supposed to be played.
Who’s been your biggest supporter (e.g., coach, family, teammate) in your football journey?
My Family and Coaches have always stuck with me they both make sure I get the job done and to make sure I learned throughout the experience.
What’s a challenge you’ve overcome—on the field or off—that’s made you a better player or person?
Communicating, this is a hard one but it all starts with confidence if you can’t build yourself up you won’t be able to achieve the goal you want, so you must be confident and proud of what you do, so that you can develop to better a better player on or off the field.
How does playing in the Suburban One League shape your experience as a high school athlete?
My school is independent, but that doesn’t change how hard me and the guys work we do everything we can to make sure we’re on the same page, and that no one goes down alone.
What’s the one song on your pre-game playlist that fires you up, and why?
Swag Surfin , Makes me wanna jump around, run, or even just get out on the field.
What’s your nickname in the locker room, and how’d you earn it?
Our place you get called anything, our guys are comedians love to get a good laugh out.
If you could take one teammate’s skill for a game, whose would you pick and why?
My quarterback because he has the ability to throw the ball really far and I can’t, so I’d use his skills and set a trick play up for me to throw the ball far down field.
What’s your biggest goal for this season with your team?
Win all of our games
Are you eyeing college football? What’s your dream school or program to play for?
Yes college football would be awesome. My dream school is Alabama, but I can’t assume im gonna be going there so my other first option is shippensburg University.
Where do you see yourself in football or life five years from now?
Still loving the game trying to do whatever I can to play, and trying to live my best life, by building off of what I’ve worked for.
Who’s an under-the-radar teammate who deserves more shine, and why?
Our kicker. He has put in work everyday, all he cares about is getting better and growing as a team, having someone like that on your team is a big motivator for us and helps us all keep going.
What’s the loudest or most memorable crowd moment you’ve experienced in a game?
Running back flare screen blocking the outside dback and then all I see out of the corner of my eye is our running back taking it another 45 yards to the end zone, I remember that like it was yesterday
