What’s your proudest moment on the football field, this season or in your career?
My proudest moment was this season beating Neshaminy on Homecoming Night.
Describe a play where you made a game-changing impact. What was going through your mind?
Against Abington late in the fourth quarter I had a strip / Fumble Recovery to help seal the game.
What’s the toughest part of playing the position (s) you play, and how do you prepare for each?
The toughest part of playing defensive end is The physicality and taking on Double teams . I prepare by Studying a lot of film and working on my speed and technique and lifting in off season .
Which NFL player do you model your game after, and what do you admire about them?
TJ Watt -I admire his tenacity and his nonstop motor and his ability to pass rush /Play the run and to drop into coverage.
What’s a drill or skill you’re grinding to perfect before the season?
My engage and rip technique and also my pass rush moves.
How did you start playing football, and what keeps you passionate about it?
I started playing tackle football when I was 6 years old. What keeps me passionate is being able to create a brotherhood over the last 11 years playing football along side my younger brother Roman and all my good friends .
Who’s been your biggest supporter (e.g., coach, family, teammate) in your football journey?
My Dad and Mom have always been my biggest supporters over all these years .
What’s a challenge you’ve overcome—on the field or off—that’s made you a better player or person?
A challenge I overcame my Junior season was moving from OLB to DEND in the middle of the season last year due to team injuries. It made me a better player because it made me more versatile player and taught me to stay ready and do whatever my team needs .
How does playing in the Suburban One League shape your experience as a high school athlete?
The suburban one league has so many strong teams and players that it teaches you to be tough and competitive. You learn to compete at a high level and to handle the pressure .
What’s the one song on your pre-game playlist that fires you up, and why?
Dreams and nightmares by Meek Mill, because it gets me hype before a game.
What’s your nickname in the locker room, and how’d you earn it?
Everyone calls me Sonny.
If you could take one teammate’s skill for a game, whose would you pick and why?
I would take Colin Jacks blocking ability because he’s not the biggest guy at offense line but he makes up with it for his tenacity and motor .
What’s your biggest goal for this season with your team?
My goal for this season is to win the National Division and CB Cup and get back to Districts .
Are you eyeing college football? What’s your dream school or program to play for?
I want to play college football. I’m looking for a program that best fits me both on and off the field.
Where do you see yourself in football or life five years from now?
I see myself playing college football, and graduating and starting my own business.
Who’s an under-the-radar teammate who deserves more shine, and why?
Braden Kube, he started every game last year at guard and he did the dirty work in the trenches and was reliable every game .
What’s the loudest or most memorable crowd moment you’ve experienced in a game?
Most memorable crowd moment was last year when we beat Neshaminy on Homecoming .
