On-Field Focus

What’s your proudest moment on the football field for Pennridge this season or in your career?

“My sophomore year I picked off Abingtons quarterback early in the game. Making a big play as a younger player was a great feeling.”

Describe a play where you made a game-changing impact. What was going through your mind?

“On our Thanksgiving Day Game my quarterback and I connected on a seam for a big gain. The play was nice but the energy it brought to the team changed the course of the game.”

What’s the toughest part of playing linebacker, and how do you prepare for it?

“Linebackers are the quarterbacks of the defense. The hardest part for me is making sure our defense is set how we are supposed to be while reading my own keys and making big plays.”

Which NFL player do you model your game after, and what do you admire about them?

“Luke Keuchly - I like how he was poised but also aggressive and decisive.”

What’s a drill or skill you’re grinding to perfect before the season?

“I’d like to improve my pass rushing skills.”

Personal Story

How did you start playing football, and what keeps you passionate about it?

“I convinced my mom to let me play in third grade, fell in love with the sport and never looked back.”

Who’s been your biggest supporter (e.g., coach, family, teammate) in your football journey?

What’s a challenge you’ve overcome—on the field or off—that’s made you a better player or person?

“Last year i started the season thinking about all of my keys and reads rather than turning my brain off and letting my instincts take over. Throughout the season I learned to trust and allow myself to just go play football.”

Football Flair

What’s your pre-game ritual or superstition to get in the zone?

“Under the Sun - J.Cole”

What’s your nickname in the locker room, and how’d you earn it?

Who’s an under-the-radar teammate who

 deserves more shine, and why?
