He’s the hardest hitter I’ve seen at West in the seven years I’ve been here. He has put in a lot of work this offseason and added 20lbs “good pounds” to his frame. Nick put in the work and our staff is excited to see the payoff. His ceiling is really high.”- Rob Rowan
On-Field Focus
What’s your proudest moment on the football field for CB West this season or in your career?
“My proudest moment on the football field during my career was when I had a huge TFL against Downingtown East to take them out of field goal range along with numerous other tackles.”
Describe a play where you made a game-changing impact. What was going through your mind?
“A play where I made a game changing impact was against Downingtown West where I had a big hit on their QB completely shifting the momentum of the game.”
What’s the toughest part of playing RB and LB, and how do you prepare for it?
“The toughest part of playing both running back and linebacker is being hit and doing the hitting every single play and having to get back in the huddle and get ready to do it again. A way I prepared for that is to hit the most and to the best of my ability in practices.”
Which NFL player do you model your game after, and what do you admire about them?
“I try to model my game after Marshawn lynch at the Runningback position because I always admired the way that no one could bring him down by them self. And at Linebacker I model my game after Luke Kuechly because of his IQ and his off ball plays.”
What’s a drill or skill you’re grinding to perfect before the season?
“A skill I’ve been grinding to perfect before the season is the ability to be a sideline to sideline defender and being in between the mix every play.”

Personal Story
How did you start playing football, and what keeps you passionate about it?
“I started playing football because of my brother and my parents. I was going to the football fields to watch my brother play when I was a baby and could not wait to eventually play like him. Also my parents were involved with the organization that my brother played for which also added to the point on why I wanted to play.”
Who’s been your biggest supporter (e.g., coach, family, teammate) in your football journey?
“My biggest supporters have been my Mom and my Dad no doubt. My parents both have been there every step of my journey and continue to be there for me.”
What’s a challenge you’ve overcome—on the field or off—that’s made you a better player or person?
“A challenge I’ve had to overcome was my ankle. Last year I hurt my ankle right before the season started and never got enough time off for it to heal. This caused me to have to battle through adversity the whole season not being able to run full speed or make as hard cuts.”
How does playing in the Suburban One League shape your experience as a high school athlete?
“Suburban One is one of if not the most competitive leagues in PA. Playing in such a league makes me work very hard so I can play at a competitive level. Also playing at this level of High School football helps with the recruitment process because there’s never a doubt about competition when it comes to college coaches.”
Football Flair
What’s your pre-game ritual or superstition to get in the zone?
“Before the game I like to take some quiet time to talk to my lord and savior. God is the reason I am where I am today. So, I like to thank God for everything he’s done for me and ask him to strengthen me and keep me safe during the game.”
What’s the one song on your pre-game playlist that fires you up, and why?
“There isn’t a certain song that I listen to before every game but one song I do listen to often that fires me up is dreams and nightmares by meek mill. I’ve been listening to this song for a while and there’s just something about it that always locks me in.”
What’s your nickname in the locker room, and how’d you earn it?
“I don’t have a nickname but my teammates and coaches all just call me by my last name. Everyone in my family has always been called by their last name instead of first. I guess people just find it more catchy than our first names.”
If you could take one teammate’s skill for a game, whose would you pick and why?
“I would take Ryan Clemens ability to play all 3 phases of the game and not be subbed out the whole game. So in short, his conditioning.”
Future and Goals
What’s your biggest goal for this season with C.B. West?
“To rush for over 1,000 yards and to have over 100 tackles.”
Are you eyeing college football? What’s your dream school or program to play for?
“Yes I wish to play college football. My dream school is Clemson University because they’ve been my favorite College football team since I was a little kid.”
Where do you see yourself in football or life five years from now?
“Five years from now I see myself playing football in college at the elite level preferably for Clemson.”
Team and League Pride
What makes playing for CB West in the Suburban One League special to you?
“Playing for CB West is equivalent to playing with your family. From the day you start as a Buck til even after your time at West is over, everyone you’ve met along the way is still by your side and apart of your life. That aspect of CB West football is what makes it so special.”
Who’s an under-the-radar teammate who deserves more shine, and why?
“Louie Cipollo is an under the radar teammate who does not get the attention he deserves. Louie has been with me every step of the way since middle school. He puts in just as much work as me and has just as good output on the football field. He has a high football IQ, He’s extremely athletic and talented, and he can always be counted on off and on the field.”
What’s the loudest or most memorable crowd moment you’ve experienced in a game?
“The most memorable crowd moment I’ve experienced in a game was against Downingtown east in the 2nd round of the playoffs when Jackson Lindenmuth blocked a field goal attempt and Vance Morelli returned it for a Touchdown. This moment completely shifted the momentum of the game and the crowd was louder than it’s ever was at any other point.”
