 On-Field Focus

Proudest Moment: Scoring the game-winning touchdown in overtime against CB South this season. The crowd’s energy and my teammates’ trust in me made it unforgettable.

Game-Changing Play: We just got a turnover ball on CB South's 35-yard line, 2nd and long. We called a play for Matt Pownall. It was man coverage, and he had a corner route. He ran a great route, and I threw the ball right into his hands for the touchdown. It put us up by 8 and ultimately won us that game. It was the best throw of my season and something I will never forget.

Toughest Part of Playing QB: The toughest part about playing QB is how fast things come at you and how fast you have to make a decision. I prepare by watching a lot of film with my coaches and trying to understand what defenses I will be going against.

NFL Player Model: I would probably say Russell Wilson, he’s got a great deep ball and can scramble when needed, and I feel like I’m pretty good at doing both those things. I admire how his height never came into factor when it came to playing. I’m not the tallest quarterback either, and it proves you don’t need to be super tall to play QB.

Drill/Skill: I’ve been trying to practice my quick game, getting the ball out of my hands as fast as possible, because that’s what I struggle with the most.

Personal Story

How I Started: My dad played QB in High school, so ever since I’ve been young, I’ve always wanted to be like him.

What keeps me passionate is that you never get a feeling like you do under the Friday night lights. There’s nothing like it.

Biggest Supporter: Definitely my parents, my mom and dad have always been my greatest supporters throughout my life so without them I wouldn’t be here.

Challenge Overcome: A challenge I’ve had to face is changing schools multiple times. It’s hard to make such good friends and then leave and have to try to make new ones. It definitely helped me become more social and easier to talk to people.

Suburban One League Impact: The Suburban One League is tough. Every team has some tough guys. So, definitely, I’ve gotten tougher as a person and player.

Football Flair

Pre-Game Ritual: Before games, my ritual is to always pray. Let God know how blessed I am to be in this spot and that he protects me through the game. I also always text with my mom. She always sends me inspirational quotes and just says how proud she is of me.

Pre-Game Song: I always listen to Thunderstruck by AC/DC. I don’t know why but that song just gets me hyped up to play.

Nickname: My nickname is Bucks in the locker room. My last name is Bucksar, so a lot of my teammates call me Bucks

Teammate’s Skill: If I could take on teammates’ skill, I would take my teammate Dom Tranzilli’s strength. He moves very good weight in the weight room, and it’s impressive, so definitely that.

Future and Goals

Season Goal: My biggest goal for this season is to take our team back to the district championship and win it this time, and move on to states.

College Dreams: I definitely want to play college football, I don’t know where yet, but if I could go anywhere to play, I would definitely go to Tennessee, nothing beats their atmosphere.

Five Years From Now: I definitely see myself playing football in college, but ultimately finishing my football career there. So, in five years I will definitely have a job.

Team and League Pride - Why North Penn is Special: What makes it special is that I feel like we always have a target on our backs, and this expectation to win. We all want to live up to those expectations and win, so it gives us something to chase.

Under-the-Radar Teammate: An under-the-radar teammate that deserves more shine is Jack Stauguitis. He’s pretty much a utility guy on offense, you can put him anywhere, he knows everything. Then on defense, he is a great tackler and always knows what to do.

Memorable Crowd Moment: As we walked off the field after the CB South win in the playoffs, our student section went wild and even got Coach Beck super hyped up.
