What’s your proudest moment on the football field, this season or in your career?
Beating Quakertown at their place last year was pretty special because we hadn't done that since 2016. It is probably the toughest place to play at in the SOL, and it was awesome that we were able to get it done as a team.
Describe a play where you made a game-changing impact. What was going through your mind?
I would say the touchdown pass I threw to Kevin Williams at the end of the game against Quakertown to seal a big in-conference win for us. I was just super exicted to have been able to pull that win out with my teammates.
What’s the toughest part of playing the position (s) you play, and how do you prepare for each?
I would say the toughest part of playing my position is the mental side of it, a lot of people can throw a football, but the hardest part is the mental side, knowing the defense's coverage, blitzes, etc. Knowing everybody else's job on every play, and everything else that comes with playing QB.
Which NFL player do you model your game after, and what do you admire about them?
I model my game after Josh Allen, one of the main things I admire about him is his journey to where he is at, from going to a juco out of high school to be an MVP in the NFL.
What’s a drill or skill you’re grinding to perfect before the season?
I would say getting faster was the biggest thing for me all offseason.
How did you start playing football, and what keeps you passionate about it?
I started playing football from a very young age, football runs in my family, my dad coaches and my Grandpa is my coach at upper dublin and has been coaching and playing for a long time so I would say it was instilled in me from a young age. What keeps me passioante about it is how much fun I have playing it.
Who’s been your biggest supporter (e.g., coach, family, teammate) in your football journey?
My family in general has been my biggest supporters; my parents, my sister, my grandparents, and everybody else in my family have always been huge supporters for me.
What’s a challenge you’ve overcome—on the field or off—that’s made you a better player or person?
I would say the adversity we hit as a team, and I individually had at the beginning of last season, I obviously didn't have the start to the season I wanted, but I was happy with how myself and the team built throughout the season to be able to compete in the playoffs versus the future district champions.
How does playing in the Suburban One League shape your experience as a high school athlete?
The PCL and WPIL are the regulars to come up as the top leagues in PA, and those leagues are great, but I think the SOL can be right up there with them. We have a lot of great players, coaches, and teams, and have for a very long time.
What’s the one song on your pre-game playlist that fires you up, and why?
Thunderstruck AC/DC, the beat just always gets me fired up before a game.
What’s your nickname in the locker room, and how’d you earn it?
The only nickname I realy have is LT, because those are my initals.
If you could take one teammate’s skill for a game, whose would you pick and why?
I would pick a guy from last year's senior class, Jack Frearson. That guy works harder than anyone, loves the game like nobody else, and would do anything for his teammates.
What’s your biggest goal for this season with your team?
Winning a leauge and district championship.
Are you eyeing college football? What’s your dream school or program to play for?
I am commited to play for the College of the Holy Cross after high school.
Where do you see yourself in football or life five years from now?
I plan to play at holy cross, and graduate from holy cross with a great degree, and if I am fortunate enough to play my 5th year at the power 4 level that is my goal.
Who’s an under-the-radar teammate who deserves more shine, and why?
I have two, Anthony Paone and Kevin Williams, Kevin Williams just picked up his first offer from Millersville, and I think that is just the begiging for him. Anthony is also someone that college coaches should be getting their eyes on right away. Both of them are great football players and even better friends.
What’s the loudest or most memorable crowd moment you’ve experienced in a game?
Quakertown's atmosphere is always great, this year especially was very loud, the stands are packed and people line the fences in the end zone, you can just tell the town shuts down and all that matters is the game on Friday night.
