What’s your proudest moment on the football field, this season or in your career?
Scoring my first varsity touchdown as a starter against Archbishop Wood junior year.
Describe a play where you made a game-changing impact. What was going through your mind?
I helped secure the win against Neshaminy after getting a 4th down sack on the “game winning drive”. After the play I was very ecstatic since I was playing through an injury and not having my best game.
What’s the toughest part of playing the position (s) you play, and how do you prepare for each?
The toughest part has to be the physical demand of getting hit every play, as well as going toe to toe with people that are pushing 270-300lbs. I prepare by being in the weight room constantly and taking it very seriously.
Which NFL player do you model your game after, and what do you admire about them?
I model my game after LSU Leonard Fournette, as he was a player I loved watching and got me into playing football, as well as running back.
What’s a drill or skill you’re grinding to perfect before the season?
I’ve been working on perfecting my top end speed.
How did you start playing football, and what keeps you passionate about it?
I started playing football after watching LSU Leonard Fournette and the thing that keeps me going is remembering all the money and time my parents have put in to make sure I can perform at my best.
Who’s been your biggest supporter (e.g., coach, family, teammate) in your football journey?
My biggest supporters has always been my parents because they have never not been right there with me.
What’s a challenge you’ve overcome—on the field or off—that’s made you a better player or person?
Something that’s made me better person is dealing with the death of my grandpa back in elementary school.
How does playing in the Suburban One League shape your experience as a high school athlete?
Playing in Suburban One has showed me what it is to play against some of, if not, the best talent in all of PA.
What’s the one song on your pre-game playlist that fires you up, and why?
A song that I listen to pregame is Intro by Meek Mill because it gets me hype.
What’s your nickname in the locker room, and how’d you earn it?
A teammate from sophomore year referred to me as G7 and since then it’s stuck.
If you could take one teammate’s skill for a game, whose would you pick and why?
Braden Kube’s availability to allow me to constantly be on the field.
What’s your biggest goal for this season with your team?
Making playoffs.
Are you eyeing college football? What’s your dream school or program to play for?
Currently I am committed to Army West Point.
Where do you see yourself in football or life five years from now?
Still at Army preparing for graduation and getting ready to be stationed as an officer.
Who’s an under-the-radar teammate who deserves more shine, and why?
Andrew Rizzo as he is a 6’4 tight end with great hands and respectable blocking skills.
What’s the loudest or most memorable crowd moment you’ve experienced in a game?
Scoring on the second play of the game against CB East junior year.
