Neshaminy Skins Cruise in 48-6 Win Vs Abington

Coming off a massive win vs North Penn, Neshaminy was looking to keep up their momentum. Saying they kept up their momentum is a wild understatement. Neshaminy dominated out of the gate. They put up 21 points in just the first quarter.

The pass rush was dominant. I counted 19 QB pressures on dropback passes for Neshaminy, getting to Abington starter Miles Yokus. They applied pressure, on average, in 1.89 SECONDS. Yikes. I counted 4 QB pressures on dropbacks for Abington, where they applied pressure, on average, in 1.75 seconds. This is proof that the Ghosts have plenty of potential, they just need to consistently execute.

This week’s CDS Wealth Player of The Game is Neshaminy QB Michael Eckart, who threw for 251 yards and 5 touchdowns in just the first half! I spoke with him about his performance after the game:

Me: What do you attribute your performance to?

Michael: We really excelled on the outside, the guys on the outside made a lot of plays for us
Me: Do you have a pregame tradition?
Michael: Pregame prayer is really important to me.
I then spoke with Neshaminy coach Nick Felus about the win:

Me: What are your thoughts about the win?

Coach Felus: Our team played very hard tonight, we wanted to play a hard game on all three stages of the game, and we accomplished that tonight.

I then spoke with Abington coach Bruce Fleming about how the Ghosts can recover: Me: How can you guys bounce back from the loss?

Coach Fleming:It starts in practice. I tell the guys how we practice is how we play. And practice isn’t just showing up, but mentally what we do.
