What’s your proudest moment on the football field, this season or in your career?
Having a really bad first half against Interboro then scoring 3 TDs and the game winning pass deflection in the 2nd half. That switch just flipped.
Describe a play where you made a game-changing impact. What was going through your mind?
At the end of the Interboro game I was gassed and the whole defense knew we needed a stop on 4th down. Clock was ticking and they went for the last play of the game. All I was thinking was to stop them, nothing else.
What’s the toughest part of playing the position (s) you play, and how do you prepare for each?
Which NFL player do you model your game after, and what do you admire about them?
I think I model my game most like Le’veon Bell, his patience, physicality, and elusiveness.
What’s a drill or skill you’re grinding to perfect before the season?
My main concern was my top speed and my conditioning which I think I improved a lot.
How did you start playing football, and what keeps you passionate about it?
I started playing in little league because it looked cool. I think the competition, meaning, and drive that comes with football keeps me going.
Who’s been your biggest supporter (e.g., coach, family, teammate) in your football journey?
My mom has been there every step of the way on and off the field, through my ups and downs.
What’s a challenge you’ve overcome—on the field or off—that’s made you a better player or person?
I think a big challenge was the pressure of playing good. At first it destroys your confidence but when you get over that mind block then you realize that pressure only makes you play better.
How does playing in the Suburban One League shape your experience as a high school athlete?
It’s a tough league and it makes you not slack off because there’s a lot of talented teams. But we’ll slide through the league once again.
What’s the one song on your pre-game playlist that fires you up, and why?
Anything by Youngboy just because it gets you in that mindset before a game.
What’s your nickname in the locker room, and how’d you earn it?
I don't have a nickname to be honest.
If you could take one teammate’s skill for a game, whose would you pick and why?
Definitely my boy Jaiden James speed. He’s super fast and I would be even more unstoppable.
What’s your biggest goal for this season with your team?
Win districts.
Are you eyeing college football? What’s your dream school or program to play for?
Yea I’m definitely playing in college but still chasing that first offer. I want to play wherever they want me.
Where do you see yourself in football or life five years from now?
Hopefully at the top of the college football scene.
Who’s an under-the-radar teammate who deserves more shine, and why?
James Cain and Aiden Orensky. The other 2 backs in the backfield with me. Both have been underrated their entire career and teams aren’t just gonna have to look out for me.
What’s the loudest or most memorable crowd moment you’ve experienced in a game?
I think on homecoming when I broke a 75 yard screen pass. Stands were filled and was definitely very loud.
