2025-09-06: Hatboro-Horsham v. Lansdale Catholic
On Saturday, September 6, 2025 the Lansdale Catholic Crusaders defeated the Hatboro-Horsham Hatters 21-17. This was a non-conference matchup and took place at Crawford Stadium on the North Penn High School campus in Lansdale.
There were early fireworks with Lansdale’s Braeden Smith (#13) scoring on the first play from scrimmage with a pick six. Hatboro countered in the first play of their next drive with a 50+ yard touchdown run by Ty Teasley (#21). The Hatters added another touchdown and entered halftime up 14-7.
In the third quarter, the Hatters extended their lead to 17-7 on a field goal. Lansdale Catholic responded with a touchdown drive to narrow the gap to 17-14.
In the fourth quarter, the Crusaders mounted a comeback on a key drive. Facing 4th-and-15 late in the game, quarterback Yeboa Cobbold (#6) scrambled for 24 yards to extend the possession. Several plays later, he scored on a 25-yard run with 1:22 remaining to give Lansdale Catholic a 21-17 lead. The defense held firm to secure the win, improving the Crusaders’ record to 2-1 while dropping the Hatters to 0-3.
