The semifinals saw Harriton outlast Lower Moreland 19-6, and Tennent took down top-seeded Council Rock North 14-6. In a championship rematch against Harriton, the Panthers roared to a commanding 22-6 victory, sealing the title.
Tournament MVP HONORS..
Leading the charge for Tennent was standout Trey Noll, whose stellar performance on both sides of the ball earned him MVP honors. Noll’s multiple interceptions and touchdowns electrified the crowd and propelled his team to victory.

Head Coach Colin Leach, beaming with pride as he hoisted the Panther Palooza Championship Trophy, shared his excitement: “It feels amazing, and I think the biggest thing for these guys is that we have all next week off. We are on vacation the entire week. This is where you take that one big victory and the end of your summer camp that you’ve been working so hard for, we’ve been lifting since February, and you use that to catapult you into five days a week.” With a chuckle, he added, “I told them, it’s five days a week until November now, so it’s a good way to jump into that, and getting that vacation is awesome.”
Looking ahead, Coach Leach is eager to grow the tournament: “We expanded this year from last year, going from 4-6 teams. We are so thankful for Frankford and New Hope joining us this year. I would really love to go to eight, maybe even twelve. We’d really only have to change the start time, but I don’t think that would be hard because most teams practice in the summer around 2-3 pm range. If there are any teams out there that are interested in coming out, give me a call, shoot me a text, and we’ll get you situated for next year.”
New Hope-Solebury’s newly appointed head coach, Dale Smith, reflected on his team’s first tournament experience: “That was our first tournament as a team. Thought yesterday was great. Objectively speaking, I thought it was six teams that were relatively comparable to each other. The pace and time of the tournament sort of sets you up for a game situation. We got a chance to see different things yesterday, as far as speed and scheme, which you will see something different each week. We will have a lot of work to do on both sides of the ball for week one, but we have some bright spots to build off of.” Praising his players’ resilience, Smith added, “As far as my boys, they’re incredibly resilient. Very proud of them. The injuries, kids moving…it can be discouraging, but they are keeping their heads up and pushing through. Yesterday was hot, they were exhausted, and they didn’t quit. They show the hearts of Lions.”

Brandon Garrett, a key figure in the event’s organization, commended the tournament’s success: “I think that Colin and staff did a great job organizing the tournament, and a special thanks to all the coaches, trainers, and parents who helped out to make it a great night for the kids! The structure of the games was well thought out, and it was made a point that we honored the time limit, and things ran smoothly with each transition.”
Reflecting on his team’s performance, Garrett noted, “I think that offensively we did some really good things, and then there were others that we need to work on. We are way more ahead of the game this year than we were last year, and the players seem to be dedicating time to watching film and on Hudl, making sure that they know what their job is. From a defensive standpoint, we were much more improved compared to our first 7v7 this year back in the first week of June. Players were flying to the ball and going up to make plays that seemed tough to get to. I’m excited to see this group fly around the field this season.” Garrett also highlighted the team’s depth and unity: “Being without a few players that will help us this year, I thought everyone who stepped up did a fantastic job. It is difficult to come in and get the job done off the bench or being a first-year varsity player. I thought our team played together well and showed the competitiveness that we have been stressing all summer.”
The 2nd Annual Panther Palooza was a resounding success, setting the stage for an exciting 2025 football season. With standout performances, strong leadership, and a vibrant community spirit, the William Tennent Panthers are ready to charge into the season with momentum and pride.
