What’s your proudest moment on the football field for Abington this season or in your career?
“My proudest moment on the football field for Abington this season is when I got put into a varsity game as a freshman and our team was backed up near our own goal line. I completed a few passes including a 35 yard pass that drove our team to the other side of the field.”
What’s the toughest part of playing quarterback , and how do you prepare for it?
“The toughest part of playing quarterback is reading the defense and making quick decisions based off what the defense gives you. I prepare for this by studying our opponents defense so I know what there tendencies are.”
Which NFL player do you model your game after, and what do you admire about them?
“I model my game after Tom Brady. I admire Tom Brady’s work ethic, leadership, pocket presence, and smartness.”
What’s a drill or skill you’re grinding to perfect before the season?
“I am grinding to perfect making quick decisions.”
Personal Story
How did you start playing football, and what keeps you passionate about it?
“I started playing football because I really liked watching football on the tv with my Dad and playing football on my street with my neighbors. Getting one percent better everyday keeps me passionate about football.”
Who’s been your biggest supporter (e.g., coach, family, teammate) in your football journey?
“My biggest supporters in my football journey have been my mom and my dad.”
What’s a challenge you’ve overcome—on the field or off—that’s made you a better player or person?
“A challenge I overcame on the field was fracturing my wrist last year and playing a couple more games through the injury. I also still play three sports and am challenged each season to refine my skills in each.”
How does playing in the Suburban One League shape your experience as a high school athlete?
“Playing in the Suburban One League is a great experience as a high school athlete because it has a lot of good competition. Pennsylvania football is one of the top states for football and I know I am playing with the best which makes me a stronger player and competitor.”

What’s your pre-game ritual or superstition to get in the zone?
“My pre-game ritual to get in the zone is listening to music in the locker room before we run out onto the field. I like to visualize what is about to happen in the game and go through progressions.”
What’s the one song on your pre-game playlist that fires you up, and why?
“One pre-game song that fires me up is Many Men by 50 cent.”
If you could take one teammate’s skill for a game, whose would you pick and why?
“I would pick Ayden Turner’s skill so I could return punts and kickoffs to the end zone.”

What’s your biggest goal for this season with Abington?
“My goal for this season with Abington is to make the playoffs.”
Are you eyeing college football? What’s your dream school or program to play for?
“My dream school to play for is Penn State.”
Where do you see yourself in football or life five years from now?
“I see my self playing college football.”

“Playing for Abington in the Suburban One League is special to me because I am representing my home town where I have lived my whole life.”

“An under the radar teammate who deserves more shine is Jake Leach. He deserves more shine because he has one of the best hands in Suburban One football.”
What’s the loudest or most memorable crowd moment you’ve experienced in a game
“The most memorable crowd I experienced was our gold out against Pennridge. It was really cool seeing so many fans and people from our school in the crowd. I hope we play well enough to encourage big crowds for every game.”
