The Third Annual BuxMont Showcase was held last week on May 8, 2025, at Souderton Area High School, where 160 student-athletes from 10 neighboring schools competed in position drills and 1v1 competitions in front of college coaches from all over the Commonwealth and surrounding states. The event is coordinated and run by Souderton High’s QB/WR coach and passing game coordinator, Paul Fargo. This is my third year being invited to this event, and yet again, Paul and Staff knocked it out of the park. The showcase continues to grow and become a desired destination amongst the local student-athletes looking to showcase their talents.
I spoke with Paul, and he had this to say about the growth and outcome of the showcase to date: “I’m extremely pleased with this year’s event. 150 athletes in attendance (prob my cap for one event) and 50 colleges represented from all levels. I’ve had to add staff because of the growth.” He added, “We’ve begun to draw interest from colleges in the south, so we must be doing something right.” We’ve expanded our network of athletes to 10 high schools and had our first official offers extended at this year’s event as well.” Paul concluded by saying, “The addition of Catapult technology is another way we are looking to leverage whatever we can to assist prospects with their recruitment. Going forward, we will look to expand our efforts in the area of academics, event testing, and pre-showcase speed & agility training events (partnering with KingSpeed.org).”
The itinerary for the event is as follows, so you can follow along with the video I captured of the showcase.

After competing in drills and position competitions, the following list of players stood out not only to me but to those college coaches evaluating the event, PA Rising Star, and to National Recruiting Analyst and Ranking Publisher for Prep Redzone, Vic Castillo. I have placed them in numerical order only. I'd also like to congratulate Carter Giberson for his offer he received after the showcase from The University of Albany.
